Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026 — We keep this plain English, not legalese.

1. Who We Are

Claryn AI Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Claryn voice AI platform at claryn.ai. We are the data controller for the personal data you provide when creating an account or using our services.

Registered address: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Company Number: 16204891. For privacy-related questions, contact us at support@tryclaryn.live.

2. What Data We Collect

Account data

Your name, email address, company name, and billing information when you register or subscribe.

Voice and call data

Call recordings, transcriptions, and metadata (duration, timestamp, caller ID) for calls handled by your agents. This data belongs to you and is processed solely to deliver the service.

Caller memory profiles

When your agents interact with end callers, we store structured memory profiles (name, preferences, history) on your behalf. You control the retention and deletion of this data.

Usage and analytics data

How you interact with the platform — features used, agent configurations, call volumes — to help us improve the product. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual callers.

Technical data

IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies used for authentication and security.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the Claryn platform and your agents
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send account notifications, billing receipts, and service updates
  • To improve platform performance, reliability, and features
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your voice data or call transcripts to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, database, CDN) under strict data processing agreements
  • Payment processors (Stripe) for billing — they handle card data under PCI DSS compliance
  • Communication providers (Twilio, Telnyx) to route voice calls on your behalf
  • Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety

5. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion
  • Call recordings and transcripts are retained for 12 months by default; you can adjust this in your dashboard
  • Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law
  • You may request immediate deletion of all personal data by emailing support@tryclaryn.live

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, and regular security audits. See our Security page for full details.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise any of these rights, email support@tryclaryn.live. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (aggregated, anonymised) to understand platform usage. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. GDPR & International Transfers

If you are in the EU/EEA, please see our GDPR Compliance page for full details on your rights, our legal basis for processing, and data transfer safeguards.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes to this policy by email and by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
